NXT Gen Cup completes new stage of educational programme with Swedbank

NXT Gen Cup continued the educational programme for its drivers at the Swedbank headquarters in Stockholm.

"We have had another throughly rewarding day with Swedbank where we have strengthened the tools and knowledge of our drivers that are imperative for them in their future careers," said Fredrik Lestrup, co-founder of NXT Gen Cup.

"It's easy to think that NXT Gen Cup is only about racing on track. While that is the main focus, the drivers must master so much more in order to succeed in a racing career and that is why we are putting a lot of effort in this multifaceted educational program with our partners."

This stage of the programme saw Staffan Liewendahl, Marketing Manager at Swedbank, and Lara Hemming, Tax Attorney at Swedbank, hosting a seminar about sponsoring and taxes for the drivers.

Erik Dahlbeck, Content Partnerships Manager Sport & Gaming of Tiktok Sweden, was also present during the seminar to provide the NXT Gen Cup drivers insight on the Tiktok platform and how to build their profiles in social media.

The next step in the programme will be held later this spring where the drivers will get deepened insight in data logging of the 100% electric LRT NXT1 race cars.

NXT Gen Cup is the world's first fully electric junior touring car cup which will start at Falkenberg, Sweden, on July 8-9 and run alongside the all-electric STCC. Learn more here.
