Young talent Månz Thalin returns for second NXT Gen Cup season

Månz Thalin was one of the youngest drivers to race in NXT Gen Cup last year at the age of 15 and the Swedish driver is back for his second season in 2024 when the 100% electric championship enters the international scene with ABB FIA Formula E and DTM.

"I'm thrilled to be back for my second NXT Gen Cup season, especially as the championship is going international with an amazing calendar," said Månz Thalin.

Månz Thalin finished eleventh overall during this debut season with a fifth place finish at the legendary Nürburgring as his so far best result.

And the now 16-year-old made his racing debut less than a year prior to joining NXT Gen Cup, taking major steps forward throughout 2023.

"I had a really steep learning curve last year as it was only my second season in racing with a lot to learn," said Månz Thalin.

"And I did learn plenty, taking gradual steps forward. 2024 will mean even more new things, but I definitely feel ready for the challenge. To race on the international stage in front of Formula E and DTM is motivating me like crazy and I can't wait to get going!"

The 2024 NXT Gen Cup season starts on April 13-14 with the Italian ABB FIA Formula E World Championship round at Misano for a total of six race weekends.

"It's great to see Månz back with us for 2024. I think he took strong steps forward during his debut season and matured as a driver. We will follow his progress closely this year as he will face another level of challenges on international circuits," said Fredrik Lestrup, NXT Gen Cup founder.
